We found ourselves in need of a home in North Carolina. We were moving from Maryland. We researched the schools and decided to focus on Union County. We started looking on the internet for homes and planned a trip to look around. I called a few realtors and only one returned my call. Kathy made an appointment with us to show one of her listings on a Saturday morning. Unfortunately it wasn’t the right house for us, but Kathy said not to worry and she took us back to her office where she spend the day mapping out 12 homes we wanted to drive by. Too our surprise Kathy volunteered to meet us on Sunday and show us the homes that caught our eye. Nothing worked out that weekend. Kathy set us up on her website and we communicated by email and phone. She answered all of our questions (and there were a lot). We planned a second trip. We emailed Kathy 14 different homes and she mapped them all out. Kathy spent her Saturday and Sunday with us. She drove us around all day Saturday. None of us thought it could be done but we saw all of them. Our family decided on 2 homes. After sleeping on it, we made our decision. Kathy spent her Sunday with us finalizing our purchase. We went back to Maryland and Kathy kept in contact with all parties involved making sure everything was on track and on time. When we did run into a snag she made sure it was fixed quickly and we closed on time. We were very nervous at first about moving out of state but Kathy made this a painless and enjoyable experience. Kathy is not our realtor but we consider her our lifelong friend.
